It's A Girl!

We found out yesterday that the precious angel I am carrying is a girl!  My maternal instincts were totally off, because for some reason I was completely convinced and happy that we were having a boy.  We are thrilled though, and would have been either way, but it will be really nice to stop calling her "it" and start testing out real names.  My husband thinks he is going to call her a different name every day until we decide on a real one.  That could be fun, funny or could just get really annoying.  Ha!  Right now I am finding it pretty amusing.

It is now time to get to work...baby names, registry and nursery planning, oh my!  I am sure I will be posting many of my nursery ideas in the near future, but for now here is my front runner for a crib.  Ask me in one day and this may have changed 5 times.  This is the Regency Crib by The New Traditionalists, based out of NYC.   It can be custom painted any color you like.  I am thinking just all white lacquer, or maybe I will go bold and replace the navy paint on the sides with fuchsia.  Thoughts please!

  3. I say fuchsia (or some other color) for sure!! If it's all white you may not be able to see the awesome design. I LOVE this crib.

  4. My vote is fuschia!...but it does make it hard to use if you have a boy in the future...but I guess you could always paint it another color...

Keep the nursery ideas coming...I love it!
